Do you have Open Public Group classes?
Yes! We hold public (open to anyone) seasonally when the weather is more pleasant for outdoor training. We will post when group classes are available. Make sure to reserve a seat, since spots are limited per class for better instruction and they do fill up fast!
What is the difference between “Private” group classes and other group classes?
Private group classes are for a closed (private) party. Individual private class rates apply due to them being considered special-scheduled private lessons instead of normal “Open” group classes that are open to the public.
What if I wanted to host a self-defense & fitness class at my home or business?
Your home will require the space and environment for safe training to accommodate the size of the group you are planning to host. You will need at least approximately 64 square feet (and area of 8′ x 8′) per student. The training area must have a soft-footed area (grassy or matted) that is clear of sharp or other hazards.
You will also need to sign a release and waiver agreement for the instructor to conduct training on your property. If your home is deemed unsuitable for safe training, the class must me held at one of the training areas where our group classes are normally conducted.
Am I expected to fight or spar anyone during the classes?
No! You will not be expected to fight (spar) anyone. However, due to the nature of self-defense training you will be frequently paired up with another person to practice a technique or scenario under a strict and controlled environment. You are not expected to do anything you do not feel comfortable doing!
However, you are expected to tell the instructor your desire to not participate in an exercise or practice session. All participants are required to complete a release and waiver agreement and rules of conduct agreement prior to any training. This is to ensure you know what is expected from you and the instructor. We love open communication and avoid surprises!
What is your Refund Policy?

Refund policy as it applies to our on-site training services:
- If you are not satisfied with a class or must discontinue a class, please write/ email (at email@example.com) / contact us or telephone us immediately before the meeting of the next class (or initial class) of your purchase.
- Refunds are not given after a course/class is complete.
- Classes already taken will be subtracted at the per-rata rate on total classes purchased when considering refund amount.
